    Commercial Concrete Contractor Services

As a design-build commercial concrete contractor, Silver Spur Concrete handles every aspect of a project from start to finish. This means that we are responsible for the entire process, from the initial design concept to the permitting, lot preparation, and actual construction. Our design-build process brings many benefits to our clients, including the ability to value engineer the project. This means that we can identify opportunities to optimize the design and construction process in order to save time and reduce costs.

In addition to value engineering, our design-build process also allows us to avoid the headache of marked up subcontractor costs. When you work with a traditional design-bid-build contractor, you may have to deal with multiple subcontractors and the costs associated with their work. With our design-build process, we handle all of the subcontracting in-house, which means that you don’t have to worry about marked up costs and can have more control over your project budget.

Most importantly, our design-build process ensures that more of your project budget is directed into a high-quality finished product. Because we handle every aspect of the project, we have the ability to closely manage the construction process and ensure that the final result meets all of your expectations. We have a team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to delivering top-quality work, and we are committed to delivering the best results for our clients.

Whether you already have design plans or just have an idea in mind, we can design it, plan it, and build it to specification.  To discuss your project, contact us at 713-482-7712 or contact us online for a quote.

    Tilt Wall Construction

Tilt wall construction is a method of building that involves the use of concrete panels that are cast on site and then lifted into place to form the external walls of a structure. At Silver Spur Concrete, we are experts in tilt wall construction and have the knowledge and skills to handle a wide range of projects.

The tilt wall construction process involves three main steps: design, casting, and installation. As a design-build firm, we use software to design the tilt wall panels to the exact specifications before they are cast. This helps to remove unknowns from the construction process and can help to reduce costs. Once the design is complete, we cast the wall panels horizontally on the ground at the work site using concrete forms and rebar. We then lift them with a crane and secure them in place using foundational footings and bracing. The walls are permanently secured when the roofing is installed.

There are many advantages to using tilt walls in construction. They are cheaper and faster to build than masonry and other types of materials, and they are also low maintenance and durable, which can lead to reduced costs in the maintenance of the building and longer building life cycles. Tilt walls can be used as alternatives to wood frame construction, steel beam construction, prefabricated steel beam construction, and masonry, and they are also very energy efficient, acting as an excellent insulator and helping to bring down long-term heating and cooling
